An all-inclusive couples retreat quote should identify exactly what each person receives, what the accommodation covers, and which costs remain outside the agreement. The phrase is useful only when it refers to a defined package. It does not tell you whether the price includes a room, two complete programs, outside medical appointments, or support after departure.

The practical aim is to turn the proposal into a description you could use during the stay. If an appointment changes, one partner declines an activity, or a clinician recommends an outside consultation, you should already know whom to ask and how any additional charge is agreed. That clarity also makes competing offers easier to compare.

Start with the people and the dates

The first page should name both travelers and identify their roles. Are you both program participants, or is one person accompanying the other? A room for two does not establish two sets of assessments or consultations. Our guide to a companion versus a second participant explains why this distinction matters.

Check the arrival date, departure date, number of nights, and number of program days. A seven-night booking may not contain seven complete days of appointments. Ask what happens on arrival and departure days, particularly if your flights leave little usable time.

Identify the exact location and accommodation category. If a proposal allows the provider to select a property later, ask which features are guaranteed and which remain provisional. The promise should describe the stay you are purchasing, not simply the most attractive residence shown in a brochure.

Separate the accommodation from the program

Some retreats bundle rooms and services, while others publish a program price with accommodation charged separately. Euphoria Retreat's couples escape page, for example, identifies a spa program whose accommodation is not included. That makes it a different type of quotation from a residential package.

Ask whether the accommodation price is per room, per person, or per villa. Confirm occupancy, bedroom configuration, bathrooms, housekeeping, and any charge for an additional room. If privacy is important, distinguish exclusive use of your accommodation from exclusive use of the entire property.

A clear proposal should also state whether taxes, mandatory service charges, or local accommodation charges are included. Do not assume that a price displayed on an international website uses the same conventions as hotels at home. Request the amount and currency that will actually appear on the invoice.

Give each partner a separate service description

A shared booking can still require two different schedules. One person may want a health assessment and nutrition guidance; the other may prefer movement sessions and rest. Ask the provider to show the program allocated to each participant rather than a single combined list.

For every scheduled service, clarify whether the quantity applies to each person or the couple together. Two consultations could mean one appointment each, two appointments for one participant, or two shared meetings. The same ambiguity can arise with massage, training, and private excursions.

If an activity is shared, ask whether it is reserved for your couple or includes other guests. A group class included in the package is not the same service as an individual session, although either could suit your preferences. The distinction should be visible before you compare prices.

Define what an assessment includes

An assessment package should explain its purpose and the process for selecting tests or consultations. A long menu of possible services does not mean every participant receives all of them. Ask which elements are planned initially and which depend on professional judgment after review.

SENSES states that assessments are selected according to history, individual questions, and clinical judgment, with the agreed scope and additional costs addressed in the proposal. Its private healthspan offer is described at https://senses.clinic/. This is a useful example of why “included assessment” needs a defined scope.

Clarify whether interpretation and a written explanation are included alongside the tests themselves. Receiving results is not the same as having a qualified professional explain their significance, limitations, and next steps. Ask who follows up on findings that are not available before you leave.

Read food and dining terms carefully

Full board may answer the basic meal question while leaving other details open. Confirm the first and last included meals, snacks, drinks, room service, and dining outside the property. Ask what happens if a scheduled appointment overlaps a meal or one partner arrives later.

Explain dietary requirements early and request confirmation that the provider can meet them. There is a difference between a preference that a chef can accommodate and a medical or allergy-related requirement needing a more specific process. Ask who reviews the requirement and how it reaches the kitchen.

If the program includes a prescribed or restrictive eating plan, understand what is proposed before paying. Neither the package label nor a partner's enthusiasm establishes that the same approach is appropriate for both people. Any necessary clinical questions should be resolved through the suitability process.

Distinguish access from reserved appointments

Access to a gym, pool, or spa does not necessarily include instruction, treatment, or a guaranteed booking at your preferred time. Likewise, an available therapist is not the same as an allocated appointment. Ask the provider to describe the service you will actually receive.

If a daily treatment is included, clarify its duration, eligible menu, and booking arrangements. Can unused sessions be moved, exchanged, or carried forward? Are there limits on selecting the same service repeatedly? If a professional advises against an activity, what suitable alternative can be discussed?

Avoid treating the list as a challenge to consume everything. The financial terms should be clear even if you decide not to use a service. Understanding whether an unused appointment has any credit value prevents assumptions without pressuring either partner to participate.

Identify transport and off-property costs

“Transfers included” should specify the airport, station, or other pickup point, the number of journeys, and any limits. Ask how flight delays, different arrival times, mobility equipment, or additional luggage affect the arrangement. Confirm whether the return transfer is included as well.

Local transport can also mean different things. Journeys to scheduled appointments may be covered while personal shopping trips or outside dinners are not. If the itinerary includes an excursion, ask whether transport, admission, guides, and meals are all part of the stated price.

An outside medical appointment needs separate clarification. Who arranges it, who pays the professional, and how is the charge authorized? Coordination provided by the retreat does not automatically mean the external service itself is included in your package.

Make additional charges an agreed process

Ask for a list of known exclusions and a procedure for approving new charges. A useful agreement identifies who explains the reason, who provides the amount or estimate, and who must consent before a nonurgent additional service is booked.

Decide how shared and individual expenses will be handled. One partner may want an optional appointment that the other does not need. A joint booking should not make it difficult to understand which service was requested, for whom, and by whom.

You can also request separate descriptions for medical services and hospitality extras. This helps you assess the purpose of a charge without placing sensitive clinical details on a document that both partners or another payer will routinely see. Ask the provider how it handles that distinction.

Clarify changes without assuming a refund

A program may change after suitability review or during the stay. Ask what happens if the provider cannot deliver a listed service, if a participant becomes unwell, or if the clinician recommends a different activity. Substitution, rescheduling, credit, and refund are different arrangements.

The answer should also cover changes you request. An extra night, different villa, additional participant, or altered departure may affect both accommodation and program charges. Obtain a revised written total before agreeing to a significant change.

Cancellation terms deserve their own review. Our guide to retreat deposits and cancellation changes explains the practical questions. An inclusive package does not automatically make every component refundable or transferable, and the applicable contract should be read in full.

Put post-stay support on its own line

Ask exactly what happens after departure. Does the offer include a written plan, one review call, a defined series of appointments, or simply recommendations for services you arrange yourself? These are materially different forms of support.

SENSES describes an individual plan and separately agreed follow-up arrangements. That should not be interpreted as an unlimited continuing service included with every booking. Other providers may use different terms, so compare the actual promised scope and any subsequent fees.

Record the professional responsible, contact method, timing, and limits. If follow-up crosses national borders, ask whether the proposed professional can provide that service where you will be located. A convenient video call still needs an appropriate clinical and practical arrangement.

Use a final read-through to expose gaps

Imagine walking through the first day with the proposal in hand. You arrive, reach the property, eat, attend separate appointments, and spend time together. Could you identify what is included at every stage? Repeat the exercise for departure and the first planned follow-up.

Mark each unclear item with one concrete question. Instead of asking whether “everything” is included, ask whether both participants receive the stated consultation, whether the room is included for every night, or whether an external test has a separate fee.

The useful result is a versioned, dated proposal that both partners understand and that the provider confirms. It should make the financial commitment understandable while leaving clinical decisions appropriately individual. The best inclusive quote is one whose practical meaning remains clear after the booking is made.
